Booked after your 20 week scan your newborn photoshoot usually takes place when baby is between 5 and 14 days new whilst they’re still curly and squishy!

New babies love being tucked up whilst they’re nice and warm making capturing these beautiful images possible. Photographing older newborns is also possible, so please get in touch if you’ve missed the typical window - I do newborn photography style sessions up to 6 weeks, and then adjust depending on babies age.

Newborn photographers throughout Leicester and Loughborough vary in experience, qualification, and quality. Whoever you decide to go with, please ensure you do so with knowledge and safety. Your baby is too important for an unqualified/unsafe photographer to practice on. As a qualified, practicing Emergency Medicine Doctor, I am the most qualified photographer available from a safety perspective. I hold advanced DBS, Advanced Life Support certification and see and treat minor and major illness on a daily basis. I will never put your baby in an unsafe predicament.
